Thanks, Eric. I've enjoyed reading your Substack - we should connect in Chicago at some point!

That would be great! Enjoy your travels and we should definitely connect once you’re back.

Mexico City is definitely #1 on the list of places that I should've been to but haven't. Really looking forward to your dispatches.

You should come - its an easy four-hour plane ride from Chicago - and has a lot of museums/activities that cater to children and families. Food is everywhere and available at every hour, so very easy to accommodate small children. We had a fantastic Japanese meal last night. I likely won't post about it but it's part of a restaurant group in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood south of where we are staying: https://edokobayashi.com/index.php/rokai/. Mexico City has the largest fish market in the world after Tokyo, so very high quality seafood even though CDMX is inland.

All points taken, except, a 4-hour flight may or may not be "easy" with a toddler. We'll find out this Friday when we fly to LA.

Congratulations!! Haven’t been following you for the full year (since I’ve only been on Substack for a couple months) but I’ve loved every post I’ve read! 🥰 Cheers to many more great posts and great eats!

You're doing fantastic work. Sorry about the late comment, but better late than never? And yes, we will meet up at some point. Might take a bit due to current circumstances, but keep it up, glad you're here in the scene with us.
