thanks for the reminder I need to get to the Christkindlmarket. I love they have a second one now at Wrigley Field -- closer to home and easier to get to, though the magic of being in the Loop is lost. Also, had no idea it's the biggest Christmas market in the country. Very cool.
We went to Chrsitkindlmarket earlier in the week, and had the schnitzel sandwich for the first time. It was good! Our go-to has been DönerMen for the past few years, and that was good as usual.
It's a shame we don't have Dinkels anymore. We haven't gotten stollen this year because of this (although I guess we usually bought their stollen at the actual bakery).
